This video is a part-2 and a continuation of the previous video I've posted few days ago ( [ Ссылка ] ).
Tried powering my drones on the bench, through Vifly Shortsaver v2 of course. While it works as a charm on my iSDT D1 charger (AC/DC), I was experiencing some troubles with my ToolkitRC M7AC... I've used exactly the same settings on both chargers I own (iSDT D1 AC/DC, and ToolkitRC M7AC/DC), Output Voltage set to 25.2V, and Max Current set to 1.4A to simulate one of my LiPo batteries in order to power my quads on the bench. All my quads are 6s configuration, so these settings should apply to all of them. The problem was, I don't use batteries to power my drones when working on bench, I use iSDT D1's DC power out option, and it works like a charm. On the other hand, ToolkitRC M7AC was making Vifly Shortsaver v2 go into some kind of over-current protection state, giving me red and blue flashing lights. In this video, I figured out that this happens only if Vifly Shortsaver v2 is connected to M7AC prior pressing START button for the power option. It looks like for some reason, that puts Vifly instantly into an over-current protection mode. Almost, like there is some kind of current spike that "kills" it. Anyway... I've decided to try starting the DC output (power) without Vifly Shortsaver being connected to the charger (M7AC), and then plug it in after Power option (DC power out). And it worked! I'm showing it in this video.
UPDATE: it's not a short or even an over-current. I have a new video where I show the difference between the iSDT D1 and ToolkitRC M7AC and how they deal differently with supplying the power using DC Power Output option. ToolkitRC M7AC is just quite slow and it takes around 9-11 seconds to reach 25.2V, so Vifly simply does not get enough power to start right away. If you unplug it from the charger, and simply re-plug it after couple of seconds, it works perfectly fine. On the other hand iSDT D1 does not have those problems. It supplies 25V in less than a second. Update video: [ Ссылка ]
