Kyle Rittenhouse says he is “constantly receiving death threats” after he shot three men in self-defence at a Black Lives Matter riot in 2020 in Wisconsin.
Mr Rittenhouse shot three men during the protest defending himself, and two of the men died from their injuries.
He was charged with murder and was later acquitted on all counts in a televised trial in late 2021.
Mr Rittenhouse has released a book called ‘Acquitted’ which he says will “tell the story of what happened”.
“There is some harassment,” Mr Rittenhouse told Sky News Australia host Piers Morgan.
“I’m constantly having photos taken of me; I’m constantly receiving death threats on social media.
“It’s just something that is part of my life now – having pictures taken of me everywhere I go and the constant, constant harassment and death threats.”
