In the summer of 2003 I attended the First Annual Home Movie Day. It was held at the Anthology Film Archives in Manhattan, New York City. I brought along two films. One shot by my father of the Greenwich Village scene from 1963, and another one that was a flea market find, a 16mm B&W film shot in 1936. Both were shown at the festival. What I didn’t know at the time was that there were people from the Sundance Channel and a reporter from The New York Times in attendance. The Sundance Channel people used a clip from my 1936 film for a segment of their program 24 Frame News. I was interviewed by them but for some reason the interview didn’t make the cut.
The last B&W clip on their program is from the film that I brought. They sent me a VHS copy of the program. I was also interviewed by The New York Times reporter who was covering the event. [ Ссылка ]
