In the latest round of raids carried out by Manama’s security forces, at least one young Shia man was reportedly detained on Thursday.
The Shia Bahraini youth identified as Ali Sheikh Mohammed al-Ali was arrested in the town of A’ali.
As is normally the case when it comes to the detention of young men in the Gulf kingdom, there was no legal justification given for the latest arrest.
Many of those arrested are often tortured and subjected to cruel and humiliating treatment while in the custody of the security forces.
