Vulture restaurants are important conservation projects in certain areas of Southern Africa. It is usually a site where the decaying flesh of dead animals is deposited for endangered vultures to feed on. The survival of vultures in some areas is threatened by a variety of circumstances, including loss of habitat and diminishing food sources.
