Parts of the United Kingdom are running low on water, sparking fears of a drought.
An Oxfordshire village has become the first to run dry during the latest heatwave, forcing water tankers to be dispatched.
“If we go through another dry winter, we are going to see a prolonged period of water shortage, and the drought is going to go on,” Thames Water Strategy and Regulatory Affairs Director Cathryn Ross said.
