Hey Youtube wanted to get this out there in the world. As a young cook I always treated bay leaf as an "herb" in cooking adding it to stocks soups, sauces etc. I always wondered if it truly brought any flavor to the party like thyme, rosemary, kefir lime etc. so this is a more detailed version of a tasting I did of tasting both dry and fresh.
