About the Series

In this series I will go over the top 50 bad habits we all pass through when we start our journey in the art world. As before, I wanted to do one video covering this subject. and before you know it, its 10 videos instead. I’m still working on it and I have a feeling it may go even beyond 10 as I try to finish it up.

I insist on calling them bad habits instead of “Mistakes” cause they aren’t mainly mistakes. but things you have to pass through as you learn. As long as you shed away these bad habits they won’t be a serious problem. But the longer they stick around, the slower your journey will progress. So hopefully you will recognize some of them and work it out of your system.

They will be divided into 5 categories and each will have 10 sections. Each section will have 2 videos where I will explain the bad habit and the cure for it while showing examples for both.

I'm trying something new with this series since I realized I can’t narrate my own videos due to a bad lisp and kind of an accent (at least till I find a good speech therapist". So I decided to compensate the lack of voice over with a comic style tutorial. I think reading a comic style tutorial in your own voice will be a bit more helpful than the plain way I did the previous series in. Will it be enough? I don’t know. I will have to wait and see what you guys think and if you prefer the old style or this one. This one takes a lot more time and a lot more illustrations but it’s also much more fun to do.
