Today (6th March) the government just announced some new changes in the budget.
The key changes are:
1. VAT threshold to increase from £85k to £90k
2. Capital Gains Tax on residential property - reduce the higher rate from 28% to 24%
3. Multiple dwellings relief to be abolished
4. Property taxation - they are abolishing the furnished holiday lettings regime
5. National Insurance next year being reduced - will save average employee £450 per year
