Skills and Training Minister Brendan O’Connor says it is critical there is an increase in enrolment into fee-free TAFE courses this year to “ensure that workers have the skills that are in demand” in order to solve the current shortages.
“The Albanese government is taking a very collaborative approach by working with all state and territory governments,” Mr O’Connor told Parliament during Question Time on Monday.
“For those listening, if you’re interested in getting new skills or re-skilling into other areas, particularly areas of demand, I’d invite you to consider enrolling into these courses.”
