Anouk Aimée was a French film actress who appeared in 70 films from 1947 until 2019. Among her notable works is Federico Fellini's "La Dolce Vita" (1960), which catapulted her to stardom. In a 2002 interview with Susan King for the Los Angeles Times, Aimée said, "Before I met Fellini, I didn’t realize what acting was." She expressed little patience for actors who took their jobs too seriously, remarking, "That bored me. But with Fellini and Marcello Mastroianni, it was a big festival, a beautiful party."
Anouk Aimée passed away at her home in Paris on June 18, 2024, at the age of 92.
