Women's snowboarding has come a long way. As Jess Kimura said during the awards ceremony, "I won Hot Dawgs and Handrails in 2010 and I got $500 for first place." Money isn't everything, but The Uninvited Invitational has upped the ante literally over 100 times as much. From rail jams with less than three women on the roster, to an event with 70 of the top female boarders in the world, Jess has really made a place where women's snowboarding can shine, and the future is looking incredibly bright. Here's a behind the scenes look of what it is like to be a spectator at the paramount event in women's snowboarding.
