Slow digestion (aka constipation) is a common side effect of not consuming enough calories and prolonged dieting.
Ideally, we should be:
✅Going number✌🏼every single morning
✅Not relying on laxatives or stimulants to be able to go
✅Having well formed BM’s that are pain-free
Slow motility can also result from lack of diet variety, insufficient fiber, irregular eating patterns, stress and hormone imbalances.
Improving motility doesn’t necessarily mean that you need to cut out certain foods, in fact, I have helped my clients who have struggled with digestive issues ADD back in more foods they used to love🙌🏼
