Meshtastic Admin Channels - Configure and Control Meshtastic Node Remotely over the Mesh
To enable access to your nodes remotely you need to add a common admin channel to all your nodes this should be called ‘admin’, all lowercase and protected by a PSK (password), this PSK need to be the same across all your nodes
You will then be able to configure and control your device remotely provided both nodes can connect via the mesh network
Allowing you to change settings, enable modules, toggle on Bluetooth, WiFi, GPS and even reboot the device remotely from long distances
Depending on your use case you can go a step further and enable 'Managed Mode', this setting disables all regular ways of configuring the device and allows changes to be made only via the admin channel, however be sure to confirm admin channel is working prior to enabling 'Managed Mode'
