The MIND diet (Mediterranean-DASH Intervention for Neurodegenerative Delay). Rule of thumb: “If it is healthy for your heart, it is healthy for your brain.” This is a program that is correlated with decreased risk of developing dementia. The emphasis is on whole or minimally processed plant foods and reducing red meat among other things.
