Here are four drills that can be used to help improve a players first touch, ball control, but most importantly a players awareness. A player needs to be able to understand what is around them ,so they can make better decisions on the ball.
These videos are from an individual training session with a u11 player, but the same drills can be used for ages 9 and up. The drills can be modified to make them harder for older players.
For these drills you will need: a football, different colored cones & a tennis ball.
