Former Prime Minister John Howard says Liberal candidate for Bennelong Simon Kennedy is someone who will bring into parliament “a skill set that we need”.
“In Simon Kennedy, you have an authentic local boy, you have somebody who has had a lot of experience in business, you have somebody who will bring into parliament a skillset that we need,” Mr Howard said.
“Simon Kennedy, if he wins, and he’s not taking anything for granted, you never do in politics; I think he will spend long years as the representative of this electorate and will do it proud."
