When removing any engine from a jet ski care has to be taken when re-installing it to make sure it perfectly re-aligns with the impellor shaft so as to make sure that it spins true and correct rather than wobbling and vibrating. If it is mis-aligned it will vibrate until the impellor shaft rubber is destroyed or the impellor shaft actually gets damaged. My hack ensures that the current alignment shims on the engine mounts remain in the exact same position when you remove the engine thus when you put the engine back in it will automatically line up correctly with the impellor shaft making the installation process just that little bit easier. Hope this hack gives you peace of mind that everything will again line up perfectly just like it did for me.
