Lisa Gade reviews the newest member of the Razer Blade 15 gaming laptop family- the Blade 15 Base. It starts at $1,599, which is $300 less than the starting price of the original model (the original model is now called the “Advanced” model). It’s still a premium, thin and light matte black unibody aluminum laptop with the same design as the Advanced model. It adds an Ethernet port, HDD for affordable mass storage and runs Windows 10 on the 6 core Coffee Lake Core i7-8750H processor. It has NVIDIA GTX 1060 Max-Q dedicated graphics, 16GB DDR4 RAM, an NVMe boot SSD, a Chroma backlit keyboard and a full HD 60Hz display.
