French President Emmanuel Macron has appointed the country's first openly gay prime minister.
Gabriel Attal, aged 34, will be the youngest serving Prime Minister in France.
Previously working as the Education Minister, Attal has also had several government positions since Macron was elected in 2017.
Attal will be replacing Elisabeth Borne in the role of prime minister, following her resignation on Monday.
Borne had been appointed in 2022 after Macron's re-election, making her the second female Prime Minister in France.
