During the Barca PSG game where Mbappe was brilliant by banging a hat-trick, both Mbappe and Alba had a war of words during a PSG set piece whereby Mbappe threatens Alba he will kill him in the street. This comes after Alba came to the defence of Right back Sergino Dest after Mbappe told him to stop touching him, by telling Mbappe he is still growing. Gerald Pique however came to defend Alba by asking Mbappe who he wants to kill.
