New fandom, new fave character. I've been busy so I just barely had time to together, I'm sorry if it sucks. I'm uploading or else I'll spend time i don't have to finish it (srsly vidding addiction)

It was a freaking nightmare finding a song that fit, at least partially, most of Claire's journey. Robin Wright does such an incredible job with her that the inconsistency of the writing becomes a great asset, building a complex character who is as contradictory as we real people are. Claire is one of those characters I've always wanted but never got (Cersei comes close but congrats GOT for fucking up this season). Anti-heroines!! Anti-heroines who stand on equal footing with their male counterpart!!!!!!!!!
House of Cards is deeply flawed, but it's very enjoyable and Claire Underwood is definitely worth spending 26 hours of your life. Go watch it on Netflix now!

Bless The National. I didn't follow the lyrics most of the time, but it's such a great song for Claire. I think it plays really well with the contrast of her well constructed, icy exterior and the human side you see every now and then.
