When visiting and planning a retirement to Argentina, it is extremely important to understand the financial system. The USD is what makes Argentina so CHEAP! With the exchange of 200 pesos for $1 USD. (April 2022), cash is king in Argentina and it is widely accepted and legal to exchange money on and off the street. We did this while walking the pedestrian mall in Buenos Aires. However, we also did it at restaurants and shops with clerks/managers wanting to save USD and sell us Pesos.

Visit Argentina! It is affordable, extremely easy to navigate the city, outdoor adventures and traveling within the country!
