Non-alcoholic whiskies have become increasingly popular, so today we’re tasting five examples to see what all the hype’s about! I’m new to the world of alternative booze. I like to make NA cocktails from scratch, and honestly, spirit alternatives aren’t cheap. They cost about the same as a bottle of liquor, so when given the choice I tend to go for the real deal. However, in the spirit of Dry January, I figured it was time to give them a shot! We’ll compare them neat and mixed into mocktails to see if any can capture the essence of whiskey. Cheers!

I haven’t been avoiding spirit alternatives, but I haven’t gone out of my way to try them either. First of all, they’re not cheap. The cost will run you in the ballpark of a bottle of booze - so when given the choice, I tend to go for the real deal.
