FAQs:
1) I'm an engineer and designed this hack squat for more load than I can ever lift.
• Design FOS on wood allowable stresses (considering worst case grain direction) = 3x
• Design impact factor = 2x
2) I've loaded it up to 400 lbs and it works just fine: [ Ссылка ]
3) It is safe to fail on my hack squat: [ Ссылка ]
4) I still free squat. I like to also hack squat because:
• Less systemic fatigue (significant when working out 5 days/week)
• Less lower back stress (significant because I deadlift, golf, bowl, and have had prior lower back injury)
• Verified more quad hypertrophy (I measure body parts at end of every mesocycle)
• Hack squats + hip thrusts have helped break past my free squat plateaus
5) It takes 20 seconds to set-up and break down and stores upright out of the way: [ Ссылка ]
6) No, I'm not wearing jeans. They are navy Under Armor sweat pants: [ Ссылка ]
7) The position of the weights above my head is not an issue. If the weights were lower, they would:
• Interfere with my safety lock system
• Potentially hit the ground before the sled (limiting range of motion)
• Require bending over to load & unload every time
