READ ALONG TO PRACTICE YOUR ENGLISH AND TO LEARN THE MEANING OF BETTER LATE THAN NEVER: So in English we have a saying, "Better late than never.", and what this means is if you need to do something and maybe you have to have it done by a certain day. Let's say you told a friend that you would, you would fix their car and you would have it done by Saturday but it takes you until Monday to finish fixing their car. That would be a situation where you could say, "It's better late than never.", because it took you longer to fix the car, but the car is still fixed. So it's better to have taken longer and to have gotten the job done than it would be to still not have fixed the car. Because then your friend would just be waiting for a car that's not fixed. So it's always to be late than never.
