Here is a short clip of me talking to our staff about the reasons why we do core training first in our sessions. I first heard of this by one of my Coaching Mentors Ian King. I was slow to adopt this principle because as an athlete myself I always did core training at the end of my workout and as a coach I followed suit. Coach King explained what it can do for my sprinters and that’s when the light bulb turned on. It all made sense and after trying it with our athletes for a few months I was shocked with the impact it made in our training. We made the Full Time switch in 2015 to always do core first and haven’t looked back.
