Political rivals in Lebanon met on Tuesday for a three-day national dialogue aimed to break a deadlock in the government. Parliament speaker Nabih Berri has urged all rivals to agree on an all-inclusive solution that includes a path forward on electing a new president. The dialogue is perceived by many as a rare opportunity to end an ongoing political feud in the country, and also revive the state's paralyzed institutions.
