How do you incorporate backwards walking? ↔️
Research shows moving backwards can:
✅ reduce pain from knee osteoarthritis
✅ improve thigh strength
✅ decrease functional difficulties with activities
AND….
✅ it can help to transfer to improvements in forwards walking!
Balance is challenged in a different way and so are your muscles when you walk backwards ☝🏽
I’ve even found that people experiencing hip osteoarthritis pain and stiffness can find relief with addition of walking backwards ↔️

I truly believe most people could benefit from backwards walking or some variation whether it’s backwards stepping at the counter or backwards sled pulls at the gym or anything in between 🙌🏼
