This training explains how to develop Plans of Safe Care and Identify the steps to creating adequate (POSC) for pregnant women with a substance use disorder and supporting their families and infants.
Learning Thursdays is a recurring free learning opportunity geared toward New York State's addiction and substance use disorder workforce. After you have familiarized yourself with content, go to the OASAS Test Portal, complete an exam on the material, and receive a Certificate of Completion that will go toward the renewal of your OASAS professional credentialing. Some courses are also approved for NYSED Social Work continuing education hours.
