Prince Harry has rediscovered his Spencer roots after the passing of his uncle Robert Fellowes prompted the royal to stay at the childhood home of Princess Diana.
Sky News digital reporter Reilly Sullivan said Prince Harry landed in the UK “very much under the cover of darkness last week” to attend the funeral.
“It wasn’t surprising that he [Harry] went but it definitely wasn’t announced ahead of time,” Mr Sullivan told Sky News host Gabriella Power.
“He did stay at the Spencer family ancestral home Althorpe. This home was Diana’s home growing up and it is now in the possession of her brother Earl Spencer.
“It is a sombre place for Harry because it also where Princess Diana is actually buried at the home… it is very private and discreet.”
