Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi says US House Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s visit to Taiwan is an “outright farce” as Chinese warships prepare for four days of live fire exercises.
Beijing announced the exercises as part of its reaction to Ms Pelosi's visit to Taiwan.
The Foreign Minister said the US is infringing on China’s sovereignty “under the guise of democracy”.
