February 6, 1988 - Appearing in his fourth slam dunk contest in five years, Portland Trail Blazers high flyer Clyde Drexler dipped into his bag of trick to unveil a unique twist on an old standard. In the semi-finals of the 1988 NBA Slam Dunk Contest, Drexler executed the contest's first-ever clockwise rotation 360 dunk.
The clockwise 360 wouldn't make another appearance 1994, when 6-foot-2 Robert Pack pulled it off in the final round of his lone dunk contest appearance. Footage can be seen here: [ Ссылка ]
Even then, it wasn't until 2000 that the clockwise 360 went full mainstream, when Vince Carter unleashed his clockwise, cuffed, windmill 360 in Oakland, seemingly combining shades of Drexler, Pack, Kenny Walker, and Jamie Watson into one dunk. [ Ссылка ]
