About Dose Settings:
The dose time is the length of time the pump runs during one dose. Depending on the size of your reservoir and the concentration of your nutrients and pH, your dose time will vary.
A dose interval is the length of time between doses. During intervals, the nutrients or pH are dissipating in the reservoir and returning to the sample pot. If the interval is not long enough for the size of your reservoir, the sample pot will not detect a proper reading, and your plants may be overdosed with nutrients or pH.
Kelley Nicholson advises varying nutrient TDS levels from day to night for leafy greens. This may be unnecessary for most flowering crops.
Always disable dosing while calibrating, changing reservoirs and solutions. Remember to enable dosing through the Dosing Settings once you're finished.
