This region became the birthplace of coffee in India and earned the nickname “Coffee Land”
Though coffee became popular along with tea in India, its reach was restricted to tea stalls
Bringing people to sophisticated café was a challenge in India
This challenge was taken by V.G. Siddhartha, an entrepreneur from Karnataka who belonged to a family of coffee planters.
