Welcome, and welcome back!! Please read the description.
This video is for my SLPs, and my SLPs to be :)
These tips may seem very simple, but they're important. This is honestly how I walk into my interviews! And I've had about 6 or 7 in the past year (building PRN contracts).
Over the interviews, and depending on the position, I've seen a transition between being asked questions and being the one that asks questions. I've only had one manager who was an SLP and she asked many many questions lol. My other managers were from different therapeutic disciplines, so they asked those more basic, predictable interview questions.
The only job I did not get was my first CFY interview, and it was due to me being a CFY! Bummer because they advertised that CFYs could apply. -__-
Another piece of advice I've learned over this year: Instead of trying to be fit for the job, figure out if that job is fit for you - especially if it's full-time, and especially especially before signing a contract.
I have experience in resumes, phone interviews, and negotiating wages/salaries and bonuses, however I prefer to mentor on those topics on a more personal note. Feel free to reach out to me with any questions!
If you're an SLP with some interview tips, please leave them down below for other SLPS :)
Thanks for watching!!
