Manchester United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has questioned why Aston Villa's late winner was allowed to stand.
The Norwegian claimed that Ollie Watkins impeded United stopper David de Gea, right before Kortney Hause headed home.
Villa took all three points from Saturday afternoon's Premier League clash after Bruno Fernandes blazed his penalty over the crossbar for the home side.
The defeat is the Red Devils' first of the season in the league, following a solid start to the campaign
However, for Solskjaer, the loss is harder to take on account of the dubious nature of Villa's goal.
Speaking to the BBC, the manager didn't hide his feelings on the matter: "You can take it when it's a good goal conceded against you, but that's offside. He's touched David as he heads the ball.
"How that's a goal and Leicester have not got their goals, I just can't see the consistency and that's clearly offside."
The 48-year-old does appear to have a point, as the replays show how de Gea was restricted by an offside player.
Whether it was enough for the goal to be disallowed is up for debate, but we suspect this won't be the last we hear about the incident.
For as much as the goal was controversial, it certainly wasn't undeserved, as Dean Smith's side gave a great account of themselves at Old Trafford.
United, meanwhile, reflect on a big missed opportunity due to Bruno Fernandes' woeful late penalty attempt.
With just minutes remaining, the Portuguese international stepped up to take the spot-kick - much to the annoyance of his compatriot, Cristiano Ronaldo.
Fernandes blasted his effort over the bar, thereby squandering United's last chance to salvage a point from the match.
