This video contains paid product placement for Freewheel. We've featured the hard-hitting enduro forks – the Rockshox Zeb and Fox 38 – in previous videos. However, tech writer and super MTB nerd Seb Stott has used advanced motion sensor equipment to find out which fork comes out on top in this all-you-need-to-know video.
Both have 38mm stanchions and are designed to be stiffer and more capable than their 36mm siblings. The Fox 38, which was released first, is a burly fork designed for enduro riding. With a unique air spring, redesigned chassis and updated damper, it offers plenty of travel with even more adjustability.
Like Fox’s 38, the new ZEB fork sports 38mm upper tubes and is aimed at enduro riders and racers as well as E-MTB riders. But, if you compare the top-tier RockShox ZEB and Fox 38 models, the RockShox offering is cheaper and, according to claimed weights, lighter too.
But what does all this mean out on the trail? And how do they compare to each other? Find out Seb's interesting thoughts and how all the numbers add up to real-life riding.
But what you think about these two enduro heavyweights? As ever, let us know in the comments!
