Beauticians and personal care businesses will be forced to close while retail and hairdressers remain open amid the reintroduction of stage three restrictions in Victoria.
Under the new lockdown measures, eateries will return to takeaway only, and markets will be limited to selling food and drink.
There is a chance remote learning could return for an extended period for metropolitan schools, however the Premier has indicated students in year 11 and 12 are unlikely to be forced back into homeschooling.
In contrast to the last round of restrictions in Victoria, people will be forced to live at their primary residence and will not be allowed to visit or wait out the period at a holiday house.
Surfing, fishing, boating, tennis and golf will also be allowed.
