What's the best way to apply thermal paste to your cpu? Here's a simple test on the standard pea sized thermal paste application vs an even spread coating on a Ryzen 5900x Zen3 5000 series CPU. We tested temps at idle and max load with thermal cycles in between to see what if any differences there would be. Remember, at the edge of tuning, even a degree of difference can translate in to more boost on the new Ryzen CPUs!
