'Plagued' co-author Geoff Chambers says the Australian public “deserved the right to know” former prime minister Scott Morrison swore himself into five additional ministerial positions during the pandemic.
He said Mr Morrison has acknowledged he should have told Australians and former finance minister Mathias Cormann.
“He had his explanations for reasons behind why he did it and around health, his explanation was they had just enacted the sweeping powers under the Biosecurity Act, which did give Greg Hunt enormous powers,” he told Sky News host Chris Smith.
“With Mathias Cormann in finance they were printing money and multibillion-dollar support packages were flying out the door.”
