Rapid-fire simulated lightening strikes zapping various items. Sticks splinter much as trees do in real lightening. Strike repeat rate up to 120/second is fast enough to play simple tunes, such as the original Twilight Zone theme song. (Behind the scenes, this is powered by a 6KW Marx generator, inductor-coupled to an air capacitor, foil and foam-core board, to simulate the capacitance of the rain cloud.)
