2025 Corolla Sedan
The Toyota Corolla is the best-selling nameplate in the world with over 50 million units sold since 1966. Therefore, every new generation is a crucial step for the Japanese automaker. While the current 12th-gen model still has some life ahead of it after a recent update, independent digital artist Theottle tried to envision its replacement, which could be presented withing the next two years, given Toyota’s 5 to 6 year product life.
The designer opted for the four-door sedan bodystyle instead of the five-door hatchback, which gave him more material to work on in terms of Toyota’s latest styling language. More specifically he combined parts from the Crown SUV concept and the production-spec Crown Crossover, applying them to the more compact body of the Corolla. The imaginary 13th-gen Toyota Corolla sedan looks more premium than the current model thanks to the sleeker surfacing, stretched wheelbase, a more steeply raked windshield, and full-width lighting units. The silhouette is more aerodynamic but not as much as in the new Toyota Prius, allowing a clear differentiation between the volumes.
