In this video, you are going to learn step by step how to create hiring ads on Facebook & Instagram even if you have no experience.
If you are creating hiring ads on Facebook/Instagram please note there are BIG differences in terms of what you can and cannot do compared to your normal Facebook & Instagram Ads.
There are 2 important aspects that you will need to pay attention to.
1) You must declare your ad campaign as a 'Special Category Ad'. You must choose 'Employment' from the drop-down menu.
2) When you are selecting your audience targeting, you are extremely limited compared to your usual ads.
CUSTOM AUDIENCES
You can’t use custom audiences that discriminate against people.
PER FACEBOOK:
When using a Custom Audience, be sure that your audience selections do not discriminate against people based on certain personal characteristics.
In terms of location targeting. Minimum 15 mile radius for targeting and you cannot target by postal codes
PER FACEBOOK:
ZIP code selection is unavailable. Location selection must include all areas within a 15-mile radius of any selected city, address, or dropped pin.
You also cannot target...
- Male or female
- By age range
There are limitations in interest targeting and there is no option to expand interest targeting to allow FB to optimize your ad if it will improve performance.
You also cannot exclude people from your hiring ads.
