Centre of the American Experiment's John Hinderaker hopes Florida banning gender ideology education from the state’s school syllabus will spark a “movement” across the United States.

It comes as El Salvador also made the move to ban gender ideology content from the national public school system.

“I’ll give you some good news, I’m coming to you from the state of Florida, and Florida also has banned this teaching gender ideology that boys can be girls and girls can be boys, and you make up your mind when you are eight years old,” Mr Hinderaker told Sky News Australia host Rita Panahi.

“The state of Florida has banned this nonsense from their public schools.

“Let’s hope turns into a movement across the United States because it’s badly needed.”
