Massive operations are underway in Poonch after a Junior Commissioned Officer and four soldiers were killed in action in an encounter between terrorists and security forces at DK Gali in Surankote area of Poonch district. The encounter started after army launched a cordon and search operation. After the security forces zeroed in on the spot where terrorists were hiding they came under a heavy volume of fire that triggered the encounter. Additional forces have reached the spot. The area has been cordoned off.
