There is no doubt that stretching works. However, stretching alone might not be enough to increase your flexibility. Remember, your body is always trying to protect you and keep you safe. So if your muscles are weak, they are going to stay short. If you've been stretching your quads consistently and they still feel tight, then it's time to pivot and change directions.
