The Men's Javelin Throw event at Le Meeting de Paris featured ten athletes,
nine of them Tokyo Olympians, seven of them Olympic Finalists, including: Olympic Silver Medalist Jakub Vadlejch (Czech Republic), Olympic Bronze Medalist Vítězslav Veselý (Czech Republic), and not an Olympic Finalist, but, nonetheless a Competitor of Importance: The Reigning World Champion Anderson Peters (Grenada).
