Is getting your real estate license worth it as an investor? As an agent, you’ll be able to take home a three percent commission when buying or save three percent as a listing agent when putting a home on the market. But, this comes with a handful of more costs, time commitments, and responsibilities that you may want to avoid if you’re a laser-focused real estate investor.

Lauren and Kyle have debated getting licenses before but made the final decision to simply use a realtor. This allows them to outsource their negotiations while they focus on rehabbing and filling up their existing properties.
