Urinary Tract Infections (also known as UTIs or bladder infections) are common in women. Unfortunately, some women will experience persistent UTI symptoms even when the infection has been treated with a short course of antibiotics. Other women can experience UTI symptoms when the doctor's test says there is no infection at all. This can be confusing and frustrating and too often women are left without an explanation or access to proper treatment for their symptoms. This video explains what UTI researchers around the world already know: UTI tests and treatment guidelines come with significant failure rates that are not being acknowledged or addressed. If you, or someone you know, is affected by UTIs, watch this video and empower yourself to #beUTIwise!
